REPORTS

Annual Report To be Made

36. The Chair shall, within 30 days after the termination of each fiscal year, transmit to the Ministers a report, approved by the Board, relating to the activities of the Institute. Following a review period of 30 days, the report will be made available to the public.

Content of the Report

37. The annual report shall provide a summary of all research conducted during the previous fiscal year including significant findings, recommendations and rationalization. It shall also include an overview of activities planned for the current year. The annual report of the Scientific Review Committee will be appended to the Chair’s annual report.

Other Reports

38. The Chair may submit other reports, approved by the Board, to Ministers, as warranted.

Access To Information

39. A record of all practices and procedures, studies and reports, as well as minutes of all committees, shall be maintained by the Executive Director and shall be available for review by the Members. Following official approval by the Board, Institute documents will be made available to the general public, utilizing Internet services to the maximum extent practicable.

Privacy/Copyright Considerations

40. In making documents or information available to the public, the Institute will withhold material subject to copyright regulations, other intellectual property or proprietary information, until appropriate authorization is granted for its release.
